Scanning the Landscape
Location: New York Regional Association of Grantmakers
79 Fifth Avenue, 4th Floor
New York, NY
Event Date: December 04, 2007
Event Time: 9 am - 1 pm

A project of the Ford Foundation, GrantCraft
offers practical insights and techniques to help you know more about your
funding passions. Hundreds of grant makers — working in different contexts and
types of foundations — have contributed their experiences to help create
guides, cases, and videos that illuminate the challenges and skills of the
craft.
For veterans and newcomers alike, scanning is a set of tools that will help
you navigate the philanthropy landscape. Join us to learn how scanning can help
you expand your giving toolbox and better gauge the availability and quality of
projects in the communities or funding areas you care about. We'll help
you:
- Understand what a scan can do
for your work and for your field as a whole.
- Discover areas and
opportunities that you haven’t seen before.
- Share your experiences and
connect with your peers over lunch.
