Anat Danis serves as Director of Philanthropy for regional recovery at JFN Israel , As part of her role, Anat leads the Northern Foundations Forum and provides consulting services for the philanthropic community regarding the main challenges and emerging needs during this period of war and recovery. Anat possesses extensive experience working at non-profit organizations, leading cross-sector partnerships and joint initiatives involving government, civil society, and philanthropic partners. At The Maimonides Fund, Anat spent seven years as the Director of Operations and Program Director at the Center for Future Scientists. She was part of the initial team that established and shaped the center’s policy and strategy, as well as operational management, and communication strategy with the various partners. Anat also worked at The Joint Distribution Committee for seven years as Director of Programs and Strategic Partnerships. She was involved with the National Volunteerism Initiative , facilitated training programs for senior government officials, and led JDC’s centennial events. Most recently, Anat worked as a Senior Consultant at the Government and Public Sector department at EY. Anat volunteers as a mentor at the Hackveret- Israel’s Center for Social Innovation. Anat possesses an MA in Political Science and a BA in Political Science and International Relations from Hebrew University. She lives in Modiin with her husband and three children. |
