Join the Jews of Color Initiative for an event designed specifically for the philanthropic community to engage with the first-ever study of this scale on Jews of Color in the United States. Earlier this year, more than 1,000 Jews of Color completed the "Count Me In" Survey. Now you can join the conversation to hear the findings and learn how philanthropists can develop, amplify, and sustain Jewish communities and leaders that reflect and represent all Jews.
Ilana Kaufman, Executive Director of the Jews of Color Initiative, will be joined by Paula Pretlow, Trustee of the Weinberg Foundation, Tiffany Harris, Chief Program Officer of Moishe House, and Gamal Palmer, Senior Vice President of The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles to share the key findings and discuss how we as philanthropists can leverage Beyond the Count to create change.
• How do JoCs think about Jewish identity?
• What have been the experiences of JoCs in Jewish communities?
• How has systemic racism affected JoCs in Jewish spaces?
• How can the Jewish community better reflect the range of experiences and identities of all Jews?
