At JFN we want Jewish philanthropy to remain vibrant for generations to come. That’s why we’re so excited that our program Honeycomb (formerly Jewish Teen Funders Network) is now working directly with JFN members to engage your children and grandchildren in giving.
The leading resource for Jewish youth philanthropy, Honeycomb has long provided tools, curricula, and trainings enabling professionals and organizations to deliver high-quality, empowering philanthropic experiences. Now it can help you deliver a meaningful, high-impact giving experience to the youth in your family, community, or professional network. Here are just some of the ways Honeycomb can support you:
Town Hall for JFN Members
On June 8 at 12 noon ET (9 am PT, 7 pm IL), Honeycomb is hosting a Town Hall for JFN members to explore the collective needs of families and foundations around bringing youth into their giving. The Town Hall will offer an opportunity to connect with other members with children and build a community for shared practices in engaging youth in giving. Honeycomb will also offer practical tools members can use with their children (and grandchildren) to encourage them to grow as philanthropists. RSVP here.
Consulting
Honeycomb can support your family or foundation in creating unique experiences and opportunities to engage your children in giving. JFN’s membership benefits include a free one-hour consultation with Honeycomb’s Executive Director, Wayne Green. Additional consulting services are offered to JFN members at a special discounted rate. To learn more, email [email protected]
"Addressing Crisis" & Other Resources
Amid the rocket attacks and other violence in Israel, as well as Israel's military actions in Gaza, you may be facing difficult conversations with the teens in your family about the best way to respond. With different Jewish texts, prompts and suggestions for how to apply Jewish teen philanthropy during a crisis situation, Honeycomb's newly revised "Addressing Crisis"Â can help ensure these conversations are productive.
"Addressing Crisis" is just one of many resources available (some free, some for purchase) on Honeycomb’s resource page. You can also preview some upcoming resources, such as Opening The Dor: A Guide For Grandparents on Intergenerational Giving.
