We are excited to launch and present the mapping of the philanthropic field in the areas of resilience and mental health following October 7th.
The mapping provides a comprehensive and clear overview of philanthropic giving since October 7, 2023.
This overview was conducted with the aim of enabling you to evaluate future support more thoughtfully and maximize your impact on the many target populations, based on the emerging needs from the field.
The mapping will address questions such as:
- Which populations are receiving more support, and which are receiving less?
- Where has the majority of philanthropic funding been directed to since October 7th?
- What needs, populations, or responses are not receiving sufficient attention and funding?
Following the presentation, we will hold a peer discussion on the challenges, opportunities, and insights gathered from funders and foundations who work in this evolving social field, allowing us to learn about various directions of action.
The need for conducting this mapping arose due to the urgency of synchronizing the philanthropic players in this field and adopting a holistic view to its growth.
It includes the analysis of dozens of questionnaires and grant reports from philanthropic foundations in Israel and abroad, as well as private funders and US federations
