In Israel today, there are approximately 30,000 orphans. Since the start of the war, over 900 new orphans under the age of 18 have been added to the circle of loss. Among them 602 children of fallen IDF soldiers and security forces and 311 children of civilian victims of terror attacks. Additionally, 23 have tragically lost both parents. Meanwhile, 46 children are still waiting for their fathers, who are being held hostage in Gaza.
