Get Ready for JFN's New Membership Directory

We're pleased to announce that JFN will soon be offering an exciting new membership benefit: a new online member directory. The directory will enable you to find other members who share your interests or who meet other criteria and to exchange private messages without having to share your contact information.

To ensure that the directory is as useful as possible, we are asking all JFN members to update their profiles and confirm that they are up to date and complete. You can do so by going to the button in the top-right corner of the JFN website (where the person icon is) and selecting “Profile Settings."

Follow the instructions below or watch this quick video tutorial. Please note: The directory will be accessible to JFN members only, and we request that you do not share its contents with others.

Log In

To update your profile, you’ll need to be logged into our website. If you’re not already logged in, you can do so at www.jfunders.org/login. If you don’t remember your password, click “Forgot your password” or visit www.jfunders.org/password to reset it.

Update Profile Settings, Including Interest Areas

Once you’re logged in, click this link to reach your personal Profile Settings page. Alternatively, you can click the drop-down arrow in the top-right corner of your screen (where the person icon is) and select “Profile Settings.”

Complete the questions on the page to provide information about you that would be searchable in the member directory, and visible to other members. Please note that your birthday will not be displayed to other users; the system simply uses that to allow users to search the directory for members in particular age ranges.

If you do not want to appear in the member directory, click the box marked “do not show my profile in the member directory.” If you are the primary contact for a JFN membership, you will also see a box that allows you to opt-out all people within the membership from appearing in the directory. If you don’t know who the primary contact on your membership is, email [email protected] to find out. Click “Save Settings” when done.

Be sure to also update your philanthropic interest areas via the link at the bottom of the page. Or just visit the Interest Areas page. This will help other members who share your interests to find you. Be sure to click “Update Info” when done.

Make Sure Everyone in Your Membership Updates Their Profile

If your membership includes more than one person (such as professional staff or other family members), each person must update their own profile. If you’re not sure who is included in your membership, email [email protected] to find out.
