Impact investing—which aims to achieve a measurable social impact and a solid financial return—is taking on a more prominent role in philanthropic portfolio. JFN members heard recently how it’s being executed in Israel, from Dr. Yoav Ben-Dror, a JFN member and Founding Partner of Impact First Investments.
In a Lunch and Learn session at JFN headquarters on Nov. 4, Ben-Dror spoke about his pioneering role in impact investing in Israel and how a mix of technology, philanthropy, and traditional investments could be leveraged to achieve social impact that is both scalable and measurable.
JFN has been running a series of webinars on impact investing this fall. The final one, which looks at case studies on impact investing in Israel, will be held Dec. 9.
