How to Respond to the Delegitimization of Israel on College Campuses

WHEN
Thursday, February 10, 2022, 1:00pm – 2:00pm EST
WHERE
Online

The delegitimization of Israel on college campuses has a silencing effect and creates a hostile environment in which Jewish students and faculty members are sometimes afraid to express their identity and support for Israel. Non-Jewish students and faculty are not always well educated about the Middle East, and often prefer to avoid a toxic discussion. Join us for a panel discussion featuring two experts who will provide complementary perspectives and approaches to addressing this challenge, as well as Lauren Rutkin of the Geller Family Foundation, which funds in this space:

Speakers:

Dr. Shahar Sadeh
Director of Strategic Affairs
Jewish Community Relations Council of New York

Megan Nathan
Managing Director
Israel on Campus Coalition

Moderator:

Lauren Rutkin
