Lou advises CEOs and boards of trustees at numerous national nonprofits, including the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, the The DiatTribe Foundation, American Institute for Architects, Represent.Us, Double Edge Theatre and Girls Leadership Institute.
He is former Executive Director of Reboot, a network of leading young Jewish creatives devoted to “rebooting” modern Jewish culture: digital entrepreneurs at Google and YouTube; creators of TV shows and films like Lost, Orange is the New Black, Transparent, Anchorman and Star Trek; journalists from NYT, Wired, and WSJ, etc.

Tzivia Schwartz Getzug is the Director of the West Coast office of JFN, where she creates opportunities for network members to connect, to engage and to strengthen and leverage their philanthropic work. Tzivia has a degree in Jewish Studies from UCLA and a law degree from Loyola Law School. She practiced labor and business law for several years before becoming the Western States Counsel for the Anti-Defamation League. There, Tzivia was responsible for the civil rights work of ADL’s seven offices in the 13 Western States.

Naomi Firestone-Teeter Executive Director Jewish Book Council
Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Naomi is the executive director of Jewish Book Council. She graduated from Emory University with degrees in English and Art History and, in addition, studied at University College London. Prior to her role as executive director, Naomi served as the founding editor of the JBC website and blog and managing editor of Jewish Book World. In addition, she has overseen JBC’s digital initiatives, and also developed the JBC’s Visiting Scribe series and Unpacking the Book: Jewish Writers in Conversation.

Shayna is an advocate for civic engagement, social justice, and cross-cultural connections. She spent the first fifteen years of her career in journalism. During her nine-year tenure at Los Angeles magazine, where she rose to the position of Senior Editor and oversaw the editorial development of LAmag.com, she focused on the people and the issues shaping the future of Los Angeles.
Inspired to play a larger role in building communities and supporting worthy projects, she joined the team at Fundamental in 2016. Her work as a Senior Program Officer for the Righteous Persons Foundation (RPF) focuses on bridging the divide between people of different backgrounds and galvanizing the power of the arts, media, and Jewish storytelling for social change. Shayna has a degree in American Literature from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Malka Aliza Travaglini is a Senior Program Officer at The Klarman Family Foundation based in Boston. She oversees grantmaking across a variety of sectors, with a focus on capacity building, funder partnerships, and program and strategy development. Prior to joining the Foundation, Malka worked in education policy for the Massachusetts State Legislature and at a think tank. Malka has a dual Master’s degree in Public Policy and Jewish Professional Leadership from Brandeis University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from The Johns Hopkins University.
