Jewish Funders Network is horrified and saddened by the tragic loss of life in the June 24 collapse of Champlain Towers South in Surfside, Fla.

Our hearts go out to the friends and family of the many people killed, missing, and injured in this tragedy. Many of the victims and their survivors are Jewish, and local Jewish agencies are stepping up to provide financial assistance, chaplaincy support, crisis counseling, and social services to both Jews and non-Jews impacted by the tragedy.

Those who wish to help are encouraged to make a donation to The Greater Miami Jewish Federation’s emergency assistance fund. The Federation will absorb all administrative costs so that 100 percent of funds collected will be used to provide assistance to those affected.
