Since the outbreak of the war, local authorities have operated in an unprecedented manner to deal with the civilian home front in the face of current challenges in many arenas: economic, social, cultural, health, safety and security. This reality creates many challenges both among the supporting authorities and the adopted communities.

Objectives of the meeting:

Understand the differences and challenges between the receiving and supporting authorities

Identify the needs and gaps in the short, medium, and long term response efforts

Review an outline for effective intervention using philanthropic engagement in this complex arena
