New Opportunity for Foundation Board Members

JFN is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Board Member Institute for Jewish Nonprofits. The Institute is a hands-on comprehensive board development initiative, taught and administered by Northwestern University's Kellogg School faculty and practitioners from the Jewish sector, intended for active and incoming board members of Jewish nonprofit organizations.

The institute’s 2019-2020 Hybrid Cohort (a hybrid of the Chicago and National cohorts) will include a Foundations track, tailored for current and future foundation board members. This track will include materials and experiences crafted and facilitated by JFN experts, in addition to more faculty from the Institute.

Enrolling in this cohort is a high-value opportunity for foundation board members to build and sharpen their skills, expand their networks, deepen their engagement in foundation leadership, and explore how to implement top industry practices and navigate common questions within the unique contexts of both family and institutional foundations.
