Ronit has been working with Jewish nonprofit organizations and academic institutions for over 15 years. Prior to joining JFN, she was the Associate Director of Marketing and Communication at the Israel Scholarship Education Foundation. and before that managed the development campaigns and advancement programs at JCP Downtown, Rodeph Sholom School, and Yeshiva University, including the oversight of donor volunteers, alumni, and student-run philanthropic endeavors.

Before entering the development field, Ronit worked in the travel industry. She was briefly the voice of El Al and translated and did a voiceover of the Rabin funeral for CBS. Ronit has also taught Hebrew classes at various levels to adults online. Although Ronit was born in the United States, her parents are Israeli and reside in Israel, and she served in the Israeli Army before moving back to New York City in the ‘90s.

Ronit is a jewelry designer, knitter, poet, and avid reader of Middle Eastern and dystopian fiction. Ronit loves to travel and has been to England, Italy, France, Holland, and Egypt. When not spending time with family and close friends at café’s she enjoys Korean dramas and classical music.
