Gali Cooks, President and CEO of Leading Edge, will brief JFN members on the emerging needs and concerns of staff members at Jewish organizations in North America. Using data from Leading Edge's 2023 Employee Experience Survey along with insights gathered from the field since the Hamas attacks of October 7, Cooks will discuss how the employee experience at Jewish organizations has (and has not) changed in the past several weeks since the crisis in Israel began. She will offer specific recommendations for foundation professionals and for funders to support their employees (and grantees' employees) so that people feel cared for and are able to work effectively under challenging circumstances.
