In December 2020, the U.S Congress passed the Nita M. Lowey Middle East Partnership for Peace Act, a historic piece of legislation delivering unprecedented levels of funding for peacebuilding in Israel and Palestine.

This new fund will deliver $250 million over five years to projects that support peacebuilding and Palestinian economic development and represents the largest investment ever in the region’s peacebuilders.

Please join us for a webinar that will help prepare members for this groundbreaking initiative.

JFN members Georgette Bennett and Danny Hakim, who are both deeply committed to the field of peacebuilding, will share how they are preparing their grantees, and how they think that we, as funders, should build an infrastructure that will allow maximizing this opportunity.

John Lyndon, executive director of ALLMEP (Alliance for Middle East Peace) and an expert on The Nita Lowey Peace Act will be the main speaker and will give a presentation on the grant including important information, eligibility, the potential for change and more.

The session will be followed by a Q&A that will provide a unique opportunity to learn and discuss the potential impact of The Nita Lowey Peace Act in the field of shared society.
