In the 21st century, the Jewish world is undergoing three transformations that are changing who we are as a people: an ideological transformation; a transformation of our sense of community; a transformation of the organizational structure of the community.

The way in which we understand and deal with these changes will determine the shape and character of the Jewish world in the decades ahead. Yehuda Kurtzer, president of the Shalom Hartman Institute, spoke to these transformations and conversed with April Baskin, Elie Kaunfer, and Sarah Rueven, as representatives of the next generation that are living and leading through these seismic changes.

This was a plenary session from the 2017 Jewish Funders Network International Conference.
