Women Give, the signature research report of the Women’s Philanthropy Institute, focuses on gender differences in charitable giving.
Reports have examined differences between adult male- and female-headed households, looking at gender differences in charitable giving across income levels, marital status, age/generation, and types or charitable organizations receiving the giving.
The Women Give studies provide strong empirical evidence that gender matters in philanthropy. Deeper understanding of how gender influences philanthropy will help unlock a new era of philanthropy and ultimately drive more giving by all.
