JFN's Former Board Chair Dr. Georgette Bennett's new book, "Though Shall Not Stand Idly By," is hot off the presses! Published by Post Hill Press, the book documents how Georgette helped bring together Israelis, American Jews, and people from a wide range of backgrounds to mobilize a massive relief effort for Syrian refugees.
The book, which has garnered advance praise from a veritable who's who (including Judy Woodruff of PBS, actor/activist Mandy Patinkin, and former UK Foreign Secretary David Milliband) makes numerous references to JFN, noting that JFN guides philanthropists large and small in "giving more effectively, to help them form partnerships, and to harness the power of the collective in addressing major issues of our time. She also praises fellow JFN members, including Charlene Seidle of the Leichtag Foundation and Linda Mirels of the Kirsh Foundation.
"Thou Shalt Not Stand Idly By" is available at most major booksellers.
