The future of Holocaust education is dependent on the Jewish community’s ability to reach the next generation. This is critical not only for the sake of keeping the memory of the Shoah alive, but also to teach broader messages on coexistence and human rights.

Join us as we learn from two novel initiatives that use the example of the Holocaust to teach children and young adults the importance of fighting against hate and bigotry. We will hear from JFN member Elliott Weinstein and Boaz Dvir of the Holocaust, Genocide and Human Rights Education Initiative at Penn State, a teacher training program for K-12 educators, as well as Lesly Culp from USC Shoah Foundation, who will speak about the Willesden Project, the upcoming film White Bird, and the continued power of storytelling and testimony as we enter a post-survivor era. Our conversation will be moderated by Danielle Foreman, Chief Program Officer at Koret Foundation.
