What can we learn from new philanthropic models for social change that emerged during Covid?

During the global Covid health crisis we saw new philanthropic models emerge reflecting the agility, creativity, and dire needs that philanthropy has come to address.

Please join us as we will focus on two models where philanthropy stepped in beyond its traditional roles to provide direct support and funding for small businesses and for the arts and culture community.

The first model is led by Inbar Shashua Bar-Nir and Adi Atun from WE19, which is part of the Shashua Family's “House for Social Solidarity” initiative. They will illustrate how WE19 gave hope to small businesses amid the Covid-19 outbreak. WE19 provided financial grants that helped entrepreneurs to expand their business, without financial strain.

The second model, led by Nachman Rosenberg, CEO of Nacht Philanthropic Ventures, will demonstrate the lessons learned while supporting industry professionals in the Israeli arts and culture field, directly benefiting 700 musicians, lighting professionals, sound technicians, and production workers, through generous stipends.

*The event will be held in Hebrew
