Religious Zionists are an increasingly influential part of Israeli society, and their impact is felt across the societal spectrum. They are a significant force in almost every sector of Israel, including the political, military, and media spheres. Those outside this community--and especially outside the country--may perceive them as a homogenous and unified sector. Some may even harbor antipathetic feelings toward them, due to an association with the settlement movement and the Chief Rabbinate. In fact, however, there are diverse perspectives and beliefs as well as commonalities within the religious Zionist world, all of which have implications for the future of the Israeli state and the Jewish people. Join us for a nuanced look “under the kippa” with Israeli journalist Yair Ettinger, author of "Frayed: The Disputes Unraveling Religious Zionists" as he leads a panel discussion with representatives from across a spectrum of Israeli religious Zionism. JFN members who did not yet receive a complimentary copy of Ettinger’s Frayed, can order one here, courtesy of the Yoreinu Foundation. SPEAKERS
