Join us for a conversation with Dr. Sivan Zakai, Sara S. Lee Associate Professor of Jewish Education, Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, and head of the Children's Learning about Israel Project. Dr. Zakai was honored for her groundbreaking work, yielding thought provoking results while suggesting new directions for both Jewish education and further research. At this very difficult time for Israel, her research and findings are needed now more than ever. The Children's Learning about Israel Project studies how American Jewish elementary and middle school students think and feel about Israel, and how that thinking changes over time.
