Why does gender parity in elective office matter? And what does it take to encourage more women to run, get them elected, and support them in office? In this fall’s U.S. Presidential election, gender has become a major factor. Join us to talk about gender and political representation more broadly—in the U.S. and in Israel. For the Gender Lens Philanthropy Peer Network’s September program, we will be joined by leaders advocating for women’s electoral representation in two different political systems: Erin Loos Cutraro, Founder and CEO of She Should Run, a nonpartisan organization that encourages women to run for office in the U.S., and Tamar Zeira, Founder and CEO of Forum31, which works to expand women’s representation in mayoralties across Israel. If you are unable to RSVP for this event, there is a good chance you fall in one of these two categories, and if so, the solution is just a click away.
- Your membership may have lapsed or expired. Please contact membership@jfunders.org.
- If you aren’t a member but want to attend the event, just click here to request to RSVP.
If neither of these seems right, or if you are a JFN member and the "Register" button is not displaying above even after you have logged in, contact us and we will be happy to help! Email Ronit at ronit@jfunders.org.
