Although long-term investment is crucial for successful recovery after any disaster, only 10% of funds typically go toward these efforts. The Day After Fund was created to take the longer view, focusing on Israel's vital needs for long-term recovery and rebuilding. With 70 foundations and individuals contributing, over $50M has been raised so far, toward a goal of $100M. Initial efforts include a $10M allocation for mental health and trauma care, aiming to increase the number of therapists by 25%. Join Day After Fund leaders to learn more about their strategic priorities—including mental health, rebuilding Southern Israel's economy, and supporting displaced communities—and find out how JFN members can get involved. Speaking representatives from the Day After Fund's founding foundations: - Daniel Bonner, Executive Director, The Paul E. Singer Foundation
- Deborah Hochberg, Senior Advisor, The Paul E. Singer Foundation
- Carly Maisel, Global CEO, Kirsh Philanthropies
