You are invited to explore the impact of October 7 and the ongoing war on Israel’s agricultural sector, including damage to farmland, supply chain disruptions, the war in the north, and labor shortages, while highlighting the role of philanthropy in supporting innovation and resilience. Dan Glickman, former U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, will discuss his visit to the Western Negev. He will be joined in conversation by Michal Levy, Chief Scientist & Senior Deputy General for Agriculture Innovation at the Israeli Ministry of Agriculture. Among other topics, they will discuss how philanthropic efforts have contributed thus far, and how philanthropy can continue to play a crucial role in the recovery and future of Israeli agriculture.
Presented in partnership with the PeaceWorks Foundation.
