As we approach the season of giving, join us for an insightful session that will explore how funders can become more collaborative, track impact, and lift up models that are proven to support low income Jews thrive. City demographic studies have continually shown that low income Jews (20% of all Jews) want more than other groups to engage in Jewish life yet don’t find it accessible. Proven interventions are changing that reality.
In this session, funders will learn from two philanthropic leaders, share their experiences and insights, and
discuss lessons learned funding programs that support low income Jews. This interactive session will elevate the unique opportunities to partner with, and learn through the lens of, strategic funders at The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation and
the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation.
Whether you're a seasoned funder or new to the topic, this webinar will offer insights and connections that can advance our shared goals of a resilient and thriving Jewish community. This webinar is a program of the JFN affinity group TEN: Together Ending Need where funders join together to end Jewish poverty.
Speakers: Jon Hornstein, Program Director, The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation Sara Sherizen, Portfolio Director, US Programs, Michael and Susan Dell Foundation
Moderator: Rachel Sumekh, Activist and Project Executive, TEN: Together Ending Need
