Why? Because money isn’t just about numbers - it’s deeply tied to our identity, security, and values.
It reveals our deepest fears and hopes, making us feel exposed and vulnerable.
The speaker:
Dr. Amalia Rosenblum, a psychologist, couples, and family therapist, has years of experience working with numerous families and couples. She has helped many families navigate significant financial issues within the family dynamic.
In this lecture, she will delve into why money conversations are so complex and focus on two key family dynamics: parent-child discussions and conversations between partners.
The lecture will include a demonstration and practical tools for managing tough conversations about money, featuring an important technique called "tactical empathy," inspired by negotiation expert Chris Voss.
This exercise will help you communicate with empathy and clarity, even when tackling emotionally charged topics.
The evening will also feature a Q&A session.
