The events of October 7 and the ongoing war have significantly impacted individuals’ mental health and the resilience of entire communities within Israeli society. There is no doubt that these issues will continue to challenge Israeli society for years to come, requiring the development of new approaches by organizations and social services, as well as a significant allocation of resources from both the government and the philanthropic community. To ensure the effective allocation of resources, evaluation and measurement in this field are of great importance.

In the upcoming session about evaluation and measurement in the field of mental health, we will discuss the importance of these processes, and the challenges today. We will present different approaches and models, hear about the government's current and evaluation and measurement plans in mental health field and hear case studies shared by JFN members l, which will provide insights into the processes and key parameters that guided them.
