The Jewish arts and culture sector faces three existential threats: - Insufficient philanthropic support
- Devastating cuts to federal arts and culture funding
- A dramatic rise in antisemitism directed at artists and arts organizations (as documented
in the most recent CANVAS survey).
This meeting is designed to share these findings with the broader Jewish philanthropic community, and propose a strategic response. Speakers Lou Cove, Founder and President, CANVAS, a collaborative fund dedicated to supporting the 21st century Jewish cultural renaissance. Amy Spitalnick, CEO, Jewish Council for Public Affairs Dr. Christine Beresniova, Executive Director, Council of American Jewish Museums
