We
live in a time of information saturation. Whether we consider ourselves researchers or not, Jewish funders are constantly encountering data—some reliable, some misleading. How can we be more intentional, discerning, and impactful in the way we consume
and apply data in our grantmaking?
Join us for a timely and thought-provoking conversation with Dan Gaylin, President and CEO of NORC at the University of Chicago and author of the new book Fact Forward: The Perils of Bad Information and the Promise of a Data-Savvy Society. He’ll discuss how funders—both institutional and individual—can sharpen their data instincts and avoid the common pitfalls of information misuse.
Hosted by Dr. Arielle Levites, Managing Director, CASJE (Collaborative for Applied Studies in Jewish Education).
Moderated by Dr. Max Baumgarten, Director of North American Operations, The Diane and Guilford Glazer Foundation. And please join us on July 16th for Turning Data into Strategy: A Member-to-Member Exchange, for a peer dialogue among funders seeking to apply smarter data strategies in their work. Click here to register.
