Join the JFN Marketing and Communications Peer Network to explore different ways to structure communications teams for maximum effectiveness. What work is best handled by in-house staff, and when does it make sense to bring in an outside PR firm? How can roles and responsibilities be divided to ensure your organization communicates strategically, efficiently, and with the right voice? Facilitated by Tamar Snyder, Vice President of Communications at the Walder Group, and Rina Schiff, Director of Marketing and Communications at Mayberg Foundation, this interactive session will cover models for team structure, decision-making processes, and approaches to allocating tasks between internal and external partners. We will also discuss strategies for teams of all sizes, from a department of one to leading or contributing to a larger operation. Participants will share their own experiences, challenges, and lessons learned to help one another strengthen communications capacity. The JFN Marketing and Communications Peer Network is designed for MarCom professionals working at staffed foundations.
