Across the Arab world, courageous reformers are working to advance pluralism, human rights, and democratic values in the face of entrenched authoritarianism and extremism. In this conversation, Yigal Carmon, President of the Middle East
Media Research Institute (MEMRI), and Dalia Ziada, Senior Fellow for Research and Diplomacy at the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs, will share insights from years of monitoring, engaging, and supporting reform efforts
across the region. Moderated by Robert Satloff, Segal Executive Director of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, this program will examine the obstacles confronting advocates for liberal change, and explore how the global
community, including Jewish funders, can understand and support their struggle.
