On October 7, Israeli civil society mobilized in an unprecedented way, taking on critical responsibilities. Today, in the “new normal” of ongoing uncertainty, trauma, growing needs, and diminishing resources, civil society organizations continue to play a critical role.

We will explore the role of philanthropy in strengthening human capital infrastructure in civil society, share research insights and emerging models, and identify practical directions for investing in capacity building, leadership, and organizational infrastructure.
