On October 7, Israeli civil society mobilized in an unprecedented way, taking on critical responsibilities. Today, in the “new normal” of ongoing uncertainty, trauma, growing needs, and diminishing resources, civil society organizations continue to play a critical role. We will explore the role of philanthropy in strengthening human capital infrastructure in civil society, share research insights and emerging models, and identify practical directions for investing in capacity building, leadership, and organizational infrastructure. Program: - Survey findings on human capital and leadership challenges in civil society: Ravit Gross, CEO of Civic Leadership.
- Case study: Building Capacity and Infrastructure - Shira Ben Sasson, Director in Israel, NIF - Shatil
- The School for Social Managementof the Rashi Foundation in partnership with Yad Hanadiv and the Jewish Federation of Toronto: a strategic investment model in human capital infrastructure
- Foundations’ panel: philanthropic intervention models for strengthening human capital
- Experiential reflective tool and discussion: individual and organizational examination of perceptions, dilemmas, and opportunities for investing in human capital
*This program will be held in Hebrew
