Antisemitism is no longer an abstract concern for American Jewish families. Across K–12 education, students are encountering misinformation, distorted narratives, and gaps in understanding about Jews and Judaism. Educators and school systems often lack the tools, training, or confidence to address these challenges in ways that are effective, developmentally appropriate, and sustainable. In response, a growing body of new research is informing how funders and educators can prevent and undermine antisemitism through stronger Jewish literacy and more thoughtful education about Jews at a young age. In this program, members will hear from funders, education experts, and practitioners who are working to translate these findings into practice across a range of educational settings. The discussion will examine strategies that strengthen curricula, improve educator preparedness, and shape learning environments that are informed, inclusive, and better equipped to counter antisemitism wherever it appears. Speakers: Alyssa Arens, Portfolio Manager, Antisemitism at One8 Foundation Dr. Benjamin Jacobs, Co-Director, The Collaboratory: A Center for Jewish Education and Associate Research Professor at The George Washington University Dr. Susan Kardos, CEO, Institute for Curriculum Services Jackie Congedo, CEO, the Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center
