| 8:00am | | Breakfast | | 9:00am | | CHIP Session 2: Problems of Practice Funders have many choices and limited resources – time, money, and information – for making decisions. In this highly interactive session, participants will discuss real-world funding dilemmas. Problems of practice are dilemmas that occupy your thinking and may seem intractable to you, but where you have control and influence, and care enough to work on them. Faculty will draw from the experiences of Jewish Funders Network members and facilitate discussions to help participants resolve dilemmas. | | 10:30am | | Break | | 10:45am | | CHIP Session 3: Philanthropic Plays for Impact During the first phase of a crisis, the focus is on providing urgent relief to those most directly affected. But philanthropy has always done more than provide direct services. We’ll explore the four philanthropic plays for achieving impact. Participants will work through cases to understand the tradeoffs of each play, so you can be better informed on how and when to incorporate them into a high impact philanthropy practice. | | 12:15pm | | Lunch | | 1:15pm | | Israel-Diaspora Connections | | 1:45pm | | Measuring Impact in Complex Fields During Crisis: a Roundtable Discussion With Those Funding and Combating Antisemitism.
