If you’re one of the more than 600 people joining us in San Diego for the JFN 2026 International Conference, we look forward to seeing you in just a few days.
As our community prepares to gather, the moment we are meeting in feels especially significant. The war continues to shape daily life across Israeli society, affecting many of our colleagues and partners. Because of the security situation and travel restrictions, a number of Israeli participants who had hoped to be with us will not be able to attend. They will be very much on our minds as the conference begins.
If you will be joining us in San Diego, make sure to download the conference app before you arrive (search JFN 2026 in the Apple App Store or Google Play). You will want notifications enabled so we can alert you to any updates during the conference.
For those who will not be attending, we will miss you. Follow along on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Bluesky for updates from San Diego.

Canvas Awards $450,000 in Inaugural Grants to Build Bridges Through Arts

in expanding philanthropic investment in the field. Despite strong engagement with Jewish arts and culture across the community, philanthropic funding has historically been limited. The piece explores
how Canvas is helping funders pool resources to support artists, strengthen cultural institutions, and use the arts to build connections across communities.
