Double Your Impact in Israel’s North

A new $2 million Matching Grant Program, launched by the Edmond de Rothschild Foundation (Israel) and Jewish Federation Los Angeles, in partnership with JFN, aims to revitalize Northern Israel by supporting young adults (ages 22–35) through workforce development, community-building, and leadership initiatives.

If you plan to donate to an Israeli NGO working with young adults in the North(or have recently done so), your gift may qualify for a match. Applications are open now through September 20. Learn more.

The next session in our pro-democracy philanthropy series tackles one of today’s biggest threats to democratic values: the rise of misinformation and the crisis of trust in media. Featuring leading voices from Israel and the U.S., this session explores how funders can support independent journalism, counter disinformation, and strengthen democratic discourse.

Join Jewish Funders Network and Tnufa Letzafon, the Israeli government’s directorate for the rehabilitation of the North, for a special series exploring the multi-year strategic recovery of the region.

Each session highlights a different geographic or thematic priority, from cities heavily impacted by conflict to essential systems like health and education, and invites the philanthropic community to engage with government planners, ask questions, and identify opportunities for meaningful investment.

These programs are in Hebrew and can be attended individually, though we encourage participation in the full series for a more comprehensive understanding.
