| | | | | | | Open Call for the CANVAS Amplify Grant Program CANVAS is pleased to announce the launch of the Amplify Grant program, awards of up to $75,000 to support presenting organizations and other distribution channels seeking to showcase contemporary artistry focused on Jewish themes, culture, and experience. The CANVAS Amplify Grant is open to all non-profit arts and cultural presenting organizations whose work reaches broad and diverse audiences. Organizations and activities must be based in North America. An organization does not need to have a mission focused on Jewish arts and culture to apply. Applicants may request between $50,000-$75,000 to support sustained programs that: - Expand the presentation and distribution of work by contemporary artists who explore Jewish identity, themes, rituals, traditions, history, culture, or experience.
- Connect audiences with contemporary, diverse representations of Jewish creativity and experience, and/or…
- Foster cross-cultural connection and dialogue, including amongst Jewish and non-Jewish, or other culturally-specific communities.
