Addressing the Needs of War Orphans in Israel

Thursday, January 2, 2025

January 7, 2025 | Zoom
12:00pm-1:00pm ET | 9:00am-10:00am PT | 7:00pm-8:00pm IT

In Israel today, there are approximately 30,000 orphans. Since the start of the war, over 900 new orphans under the age of 18 have been added to the circle of loss. Among them 602 children of fallen IDF soldiers and security forces and 311 children of civilian victims of terror attacks. Some tragically lost both parents, and some are still waiting for their fathers, who are being held hostage in Gaza.

Join us to learn about this critical issue and explore meaningful ways of philanthropic action.

January 9, 2025 | Zoom
12:00-1:15pm IT | In Hebrew

The aftermath of the October 7 attack and the Iron Swords War, along with the beginning of the return of evacuees to their homes in the South and North, highlight the urgent need to invest in young adults as a growth engine for the rehabilitation of these regions. Investing in young people is key to rebuilding and revitalizing these areas and creating a sustainable future for the entire country. We will explore unique examples of philanthropic initiatives driving meaningful change on the ground.

This is a combined session for JFN and FFI.

January 15, 2025 | Jerusalem
6:00pm - 9:00pm IT
