Leverage Your Giving With Matching Grants

JFN Matching Grants Initiatives grow the base of funders for a given field of Jewish philanthropy. They leverage the sponsor's funds to encourage new donors to make their first ever (or significantly increased) grants to a field by offering matching funds directly to the organization that the new donors’ funding will support. JFN members can sponsor matching grant initiatives and/or have their eligible gifts matched through these initiatives.

Small Foundation, Meet Big Network

While grant makers of every size can benefit from JFN membership, JFN offers unique value to smaller foundations with few or no professional staff and families giving outside the formal foundation or DAF structures. Connect with other funders operating in similar situations, make new connections to larger foundation trustees and staff, learn best practices, and be part of a larger Jewish funder community.

X Factor: The Unpredictable Power of Networks

JFN builds and amplifies connections. Social science has proven the exponential power of complex networked relationships. Funder collaborations, learning collectives, new organizations and programs, fruitful correspondences, countless friendships, and even more innovative ideas have all been born from JFN networking.

JFN members are also eligible for discounted membership to Exponent Philanthropy.
