Fighting Antisemitism: From Passion to Strategy

Antisemitism has surged back into public life with disturbing force, and the philanthropic response has been massive. Hundreds of organizations and hundreds of millions of dollars have mobilized. But are we truly making an impact? In a new eJewish Philanthropy op-ed, JFN President and CEO Andrés Spokoiny calls for greater honesty, coordination, and strategy in the fight against antisemitism. Read his piece here.

Yesterday, JFN hosted a webinar presenting findings from our new mapping of the philanthropic response to antisemitism, led by researcher Eitan Hersh of Tufts University. If you missed it and would like to watch the recording, please contact us. The video is available exclusively to JFN members.

The full report will be made available to JFN members next week.

Our fall lineup brings together leading voices to help you navigate philanthropy’s most pressing challenges, deepen your giving practice, and discover new opportunities for impact.

Curated by Rachel Sumekh and TEN: Together Ending Need, the inaugural session spotlights three organizations tackling urgent challenges facing Jews on the economic margins:

  • A national platform connecting people to job training and career pathways
  • A housing initiative providing stability for vulnerable community members
  • A network ensuring Jewish life is accessible and welcoming for those facing financial insecurity.

Each fast-paced pitch will highlight why investing in people’s basic needs is essential to the vitality and resilience of the Jewish future, offering funders clear and tangible opportunities to engage.
